Your Life and Time is Precious. It’s time To Get Fear Out of The Driving Seat.

I look into your eyes and all I see is beauty yet your world is ruled by fear. How can a person so beautiful be so fearful? I know you've been through some tough stuff in your life, I know you've felt unimaginable pain. I know you've wept at night and I know you worry yourself silly about things happening or things re-happening. But you know what? Fear is weak and you can overcome it. Fear is a signpost to something deeper. If you looked inside of yourself deeply enough you would find unimaginable strength and power.  You can use fear and pain to move you to a place you never dreamt possible. A place full of possibilities, a place where fear is your ally which can be flipped into excitement. In this place, we see our worries for what they are, not real and not worth the attention. You…

Giving kids the best choices and chances for life success.

My life so far is a culmination of the choices I've made. I've made some good choices and I've made some terrible choices and I've learned a ton along the way. Each decision I made brought me closer to the person I am today. If I had the chance to do it again I'd probably change a few things but overall I'm grateful for the opportunities and lessons that life has given me. I believe they have made me a better person. But every day I look at my children and I pray they don't repeat my mistakes. I wonder what they're making of it all. How much do they actually listen to the lessons I'm trying to send their way? How much will they learn from watching my actions? I want the best for them and I try to surround them with amazing people and opportunities for growth. It's…

Time is the most precious gift.

Time is the most precious Gift I was recently asked by Xavier what it means to me to be spoiled in a relationship. I didn't realise it was going to turn into a blog post but it really made me stop and think and whenever I do that it usually tends to make good food for thought. Everybody loves a treat but i'm the kind of person who appreciates the little things, so my initial response was that I didn't need to be spoilt. This is what made it a difficult question to answer. So anyway I gave it some more thought and this is what I realised. I like to be spoilt as much as anyone else and the element of surprise or adventure is always a massive bonus. This could be as extravagant as a Michelin star restaurant or ski trip to a simple break from the norm, …

Living Unapologetically.

What is living Unapologetically? Have you ever thought about what it means to be living unapologetically? Whose life are you living anyway? How many times do you apologise on a daily basis? Of those Apologies, How many are essentially for not living up to other peoples wants, needs, ideals and expectations? How often do you stop to think about what your own real expectations are? What do you really want and need to live a happy and fulfilled life? We live in a world where practically anything is possible, but we all know we can't have everything, so I think we should probably pick more wisely. So often we get bogged down and distracted by other peoples priorities, that we rarely get to think about, let alone move toward living our own self-crafted life. Living our pre-programming. From birth we are taught how we must live. Our lives are pretty…
