Learn how to grow your life exponentially with these 8 life growth habits For Powerful, Passionate, Purposeful Parents. Compiled to help you take the first steps to grow into your new improved life. You don’t need to make big changes to make big things happen in your life. Small, regular steps can help you create a more lasting change.

1. Put Your Dreams First

What is it that you most want to create in your life? So why is it that your days go by without you managing to get around to starting? The world will fill your life full of demands if you let it. It’s time to prioritize your own priorities. If that means putting something else off or getting up an hour earlier your dreams need to start coming first.

2. Get Creative

Creativity knows no bounds. The more creative you yet the more creative you become. It’s also a ‘use it or lose it’ kinda thing. So create as often as you can. From writing to art to music anything. And the great thing about creating something is it outlives you. Who doesn’t want to leave a legacy?

3. Read Every Day

Making time every day to read a variety of different genres will help you see the world through the eyes of lots of different people around the world. Find out what your most focused time of day is for you and set a habit of reading for 20-40 minutes a day. Don’t worry if you struggle with reading text because audio counts too.

4. Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

Do something every day that scares you. Life is dull and monotonous when we live solely inside of our comfort zones. Make an effort to step outside of it on a regular basis and you will see your life options and available opportunities soar.

5. Eat Healthy Nutritious Foods

Junk and processed foods drain more energy than they give to you so it makes sense to stick to healthier options. The more healthy foods you eat, the more energy you will have to accomplish your goals. So go on and grab yourself a veggie filled smoothie with your favourite fruits to sweeten. You’ll be glad you did.

6. Honest Reflection

Take time every day to write or think about what’s going right or wrong in tour life. This gives you the chance to change what isn’t working much quicker than if you just live every day in reactive mode.

7. Work to a Schedule

When you wake up in the morning and you know exactly where you’re going you can hit the ground running. Whereas if you have no clear direction the days just seem to slip through your fingertips. Always have a clear set of goals and scheduled plan to prevent your days running away from you.

8. Eliminate Distractions

This world is designed to keep us distracted from the real important stuff. Whatever that is to you the quickest way to move towards it is removing distractions and obstacles as best we can. My biggest distractions were the television and the WiFi. Once I made them less prominent parts of my life. The important stuff began to flow much better. What are your biggest distractions?

  10. I love this list! Some I’m better than others and other I need to work on. As a school librarian, I loved that you put read on here and also mentioned audio books! Thanks to audio books, I enjoy traffic a lot more! lol. I do need to work at creating a daily schedule, especially on days I don’t have to work…I tend to get lazy and want to just relax but it gets me no where closer to my goals. Thank you for the great reminder!
