Love, Honour and Cherish Yourself. Do you know who you are? Do you know how worthy of love you are? What have you done for you lately? I think the world is lacking in people who love, honour and cherish themselves. Let's be the next ones who decide to join them. I think it was Socrates that said above all else we should know ourselves. But I'd take it one step further and say our first lesson in life should be to love our selves fully and wholly. When we love, honour and cherish ourselves we accept ourselves fully and no amount of rejection and humiliation can make a big enough dent in our self-esteem to bring us down. Time is the most precious gift.

Time is the most precious Gift I was recently asked by Xavier what it means to me to be spoiled in a relationship. I didn't realise it was going to turn into a blog post but it really made me stop and think and whenever I do that it usually tends to make good food for thought. Everybody loves a treat but i'm the kind of person who appreciates the little things, so my initial response was that I didn't need to be spoilt. This is what made it a difficult question to answer. So anyway I gave it some more thought and this is what I realised. I like to be spoilt as much as anyone else and the element of surprise or adventure is always a massive bonus. What is Freedom?

So, since I decided to embark on this freedom-finding journey,  I thought it might be sensible to start by asking "What is Freedom?" After all how can one begin a journey when they don't know where they're going?  The dictionary has many definitions of freedom range from - the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action. To - liberation from slavery or restraint or from the power of another. (Merriam_Webster) Freedom, to me, is controlling the level of manipulation present in our day to day lives, what and who we allow to take up our time and space and energy. Freedom is a reclamation of your personal power.
